Vintage Race Bike Rentals
Grunbay Company, LLC is offering a limited collection of motorcycles for daily rental at vintage race events. We plan on renting at all of the USCRA events and may attend some AHRMA events. Qualified renters must: be at least 18 years of age, be licensed to ride a motorcycle, currently hold a USCRA racer license (or be enrolled in USCRA race school the day of the rental), agree to the terms of our rental contract, and agree to be accompanied for a few practice laps during which we will assess your riding skills. In our sole discretion, we may decide not to rent a bike to any person. Our rental terms are fairly simple, aside from a comprehensive liability release waiver, we ask for the daily rental fee plus a damage deposit equal to the rental fee. If you return the bike at the end of the day in essentially the same shape as you received it, you get your deposit back. The rental rates vary by bike, but start at $200 per day.
We will prep the bike for your use. You buy the gas. Our GP shift bikes can be converted to conventional shift pattern upon request. Subject to the limitations of the suspension, we will attempt to adjust the suspension to your weight and experience level.
We strongly encourage you to reserve your bikes in advance. We may, if trailer space is available, bring one or more rental bikes with us to USCRA events in case you develop an unanticipated need for a bike. Our rental fleet largely consists of our own race bikes that we have ridden many times ourselves. They are reliable and have taken their riders to many podiums!
